Educational Packets
The educational packets provided below are for teachers of 4th, 7th, and 8th grade students. The packets contain a lesson objective and questions that the students should be able to understand and answer after the lesson. The packets include a contextual essay, answers to the essential questions, content that should be discussed during the lesson, and suggestions for classroom activities. This page also supplies examples of the primary sources available to the public in certain archives and libraries. These types of activities allow teachers and students to participate in the creation of a collective memory on these Irish colonists.
